EXPRESSION OF INTEREST CR 65952
Within the framework of the project “Climate Change Mitigation in Ukraine
through Energy Efficiency in Municipal District Heating (Pilot Project in
Rivne)” supported by the Global Environment Facility, the UNDP Ukraine, has been
selected as the Implementing Agency supported by UNDP/ IAPSO.
This announcement relates to the provision of nine “turnkey” contracts, which
in most of cases include:
- design works - digging works - supply of materials -
installation - start-up, commissioning and putting into operation
for the following:
- Reconstruction of group heat substation located at 5 Mitskevyacha St. in
the city of Rivne. - Arrangement of individual heat substation in the
residential building located at 5 Mitskevycha St. in the city of Rivne. -
Arrangement of individual heat substation in the residential building located at
7 Mitskevycha St. in the city of Rivne. - Installation of district heating
pipelines between boiler plant located at 71 Kn. Volodymyr St. and heat-network
chamber (valve room) #39 in the city of Rivne. - Reconstruction and
modernization of internal heating system in secondary schools #25, #28 and sport
school #2 in the city of Rivne. - Rehabilitation and renovation of the
automation and control systems for boiler units installed in the boiler-house at
71 Kn. Volodymyra St., in the city of Rivne. - Rehabilitation and renovation
of two boiler units installed in the boiler-house at 71 Kn. Volodymyra St., in
the city of Rivne. - Rehabilitation and renovation of gas burners for boiler
units installed in the boiler-house at 71 Kn. Volodymyra St., in the city of
Rivne. - Arranging variable-speed drive system for forced-draft units of
B-25-15 boiler and supply-line pumps in the boiler-house at 71 Kn. Volodymyra
St., in the city of Rivne.

UNDP/IAPSO invites qualified potential suppliers to EXPRESS THEIR INTEREST in
supplying the above services. The expression of interest should specify IAPSO
ref. no CR 65952 and relevant supply experience, and must be received by
UNDP/IAPSO no later than 1 July 2003. It should be noted that UNDP/IAPSO is not
obliged to invite to participate in the subsequent bidding process any
particular potential supplier who had expressed interest in this project.
Interested potential suppliers should forward their expressions of interest,
including the following documentation:
• A profile of the company, including details of similar successfully
completed turnkey projects in the heating sector, both in general and in the
country specified (Ukraine) • List of international quality assurance
certificates held by your company. • Audited Annual Report, demonstrating a
sound financial standing of the company.
Request for Proposal and any subsequent purchase order will be issued in
accordance with the rules and procedures of UNDP. Interested potential
suppliers should forward their expressions of interest with indications of
relevant experience to the following address:
