Duties
and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the
National Programme Manager (NPM), the incumbent will be expected
to:
·
Provide all activities related to filling in the journal portfolio with
new materials (articles, reviews etc.);
·
Cooperate with foreign journals specializing in distance and open
education;
·
Cooperate with foreign scholars and specialists in distance
learning;
·
Prepare and implement the working plan of all journal
editions;
·
Create and submit for approving the methodology of the journal content
development;
·
Implement the on-going activities and write periodic progress
reports;
·
Provide assistance to the RR, DRR, NPM and other staff when required on
the issues relevant to the Programme and perform other duties as
required.
6. Experience and Qualifications:
·
Candidate of Nauk or Doctor of Nauk degree;
·
Experience in writing articles for home and foreign journals as well as
abstracts and reports for home and foreign conferences, congresses, seminars
etc;
·
Experience in editing articles, reports, monographs and other materials
for home and foreign journals;
·
Experience
in teaching at different educational institutions in
Ukraine
and broad;
·
Experience in compiling distance courses and other educational
materials;
·
Excellent communication skills;
·
Strong organizational and time management skills;
·
Knowledge of learning management system and content management
system;
·
Excellent
Ukrainian, Russian, English is an important asset;
·
Knowledge of and complete comfort with computer applications is essential
(including organization of public presentations on
PowerPoint).
