Duties and responsibilities

The Media Module Manager will be employed by UNDP and will be responsible for overall media activities of the Leadership for Results media component:

• Design, agree and implement the communication/information strategy for the project;
• Prepare quarterly work-plans as a part of the project plans;
• Maintain close working contacts with mass-media representatives;
• Maintain contacts with governmental, non-governmental institutions, academia, local and community authorities;
• Promote project through stories, articles and other PR activities;
• Ensure that all equipment designated to the project communication activities is kept in good order and strict control;
• Scan press and publications for generated products to project and circulate them to project staff;
• Duties as may be assigned.

Requirements for the post:

• Be proactive, energetic, committed and innovative;
• Master’s Degree and at least 5 years of practical experience in the PR/Communication field;
• excellent writing, communication and organization skills;
• fluency in English (spoken and written), Ukrainian;
• strong knowledge and use of modern information technologies;
• Good interpersonal skills, diligent, be open minded and dedicated;
• Excellent team working skills.
