Is looking for a qualified professional to fill in the
position of Logistician

duration: 6 months in first
instance
- Location: Kiev, Ukraine
- Objective:
Under
the general supervision of the Communication Officer, supports supply operations
for the communication campaign on avian influenza.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in development, implementation and monitoring of
dissemination strategy for an avian influenza communication
campaign.
- Monitor delivery of printed materials on avian
influenza.
- Prepare supply requisitions, draft routine documentation for
procurement.
- Undertake market research, identify local sources of procurement,
contact local vendors for price quotations, prepare summary of bids including
information on price and conditions of offer.
- Prepare draft bid invitations and requests for price quotations,
draft solicitations, related correspondence and documentation for
procurement.
- Substantial travel in Ukraine to support the above.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Economics, Business Administration or related
field.
- Solid work experience at the professional level of at least three
years in administration and procurement.
- Good analytical, negotiating and communication skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously in an international and multicultural
environment.
- Good working knowledge of computer applications (MS Office /
Windows)
- Fluency in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
