Duties:

conducts preliminary interviews of individual cases and reports to the Protection Officer/Snr Protection Officer;

informs and acts on the reports received from refugees within the refugee community or from the local authorities, as required;

follows-up and liaise on protection issues with authorities concerned, legal NGO's on reception conditions, detention, court cases and access to RSD of asylum seeker;

follows-up and liaise on protection issues with authorities concerned, legal NGO's on access to rights of refugees and search for durable solutions;

acts as focal point on statelessness /citizenship issues in Ukraine and Belarus, monitor the activities and projects relating to statelessness and recommend legal initiatives/activities aiming at its reduction in the region;

compiles monthly statistics of refugees in various prisons in the region as well as of specific other groups of refugees (SGBV cases, UAM cases, protection cases);

acts as interpreter and translator when needed;

performs other duties as required.
