is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of

Assistant Project Officer Child Protection

Location:Kyiv, Ukraine

Objective:

Under the general supervision of Programme Officer, contribute to programme design and implementation, evaluation of programme/project activities, data analysis and progress reporting.

Responsibilities:

¨ Collect and analyse data for the Situation Analysis, programme/project planning, management, monitoring, and evaluation purposes. Analyse and evaluate programme implementation reports.

¨ Undertake ongoing visits to UNICEF projects sites, assess local contributions and resources and monitor UNICEF inputs towards Child Protection project implementation.

¨ Manage programme implementation activities and prepare relevant reports, including project feasibility and effectiveness, and the flow of supply and non-supply assistance.

¨ Assist Government authorities in planning and implementation of training activities related to implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Child Protection programme.

¨ Assist in collaboration with UNICEF’s strategic partners including governmental and non-governmental organisations regarding Child Protection programme implementation.

Requirements:

¨ University degree in Social Sciences or in related technical and/or managerial fields.

¨ Three (3) years progressively responsible professional work experience in social development.

project administration, monitoring and evaluation, some of which at the international level.

¨ Proven organisational, analytical, negotiating, communication (oral and written) and training skills.

¨ Ability to work harmoniously in an international and multicultural environment.

¨ Fluency in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
