Ukraine Agribusiness Development Project of the International Finance Corporation is looking for candidates for the position of

Agribusiness Marketing Specialist

The goal of the Project is to promote the development of agribusiness supply chain in Ukraine. The Agribusiness Marketing Specialist based in Kherson, will research and develop new market opportunities for local agriculture commodities and food-stuffs at domestic and international markets. Candidate must have a solid knowledge in marketing of agricultural products, distribution channels, agricultural production and processing.

Responsibilities:

· Establish new agribusiness marketing channels and sustainable supply chain

· Research and analyze market information on price, volume, demand and supply

· Develop models to disseminate agricultural market information to farmers, processors, and other participants

· Work directly with foreign investors and local processing companies to determine and implement agricultural commodity requirements

· Promote new brands, improve packaging for agricultural products, with a focus on ISO and IP standards

· Design and implement training programs to achieve project deliverables

Qualifications:

· Educational background in business or agriculture

· Minimum 3 years of experience in agribusiness with the focus on marketing

· Work experience in international or prominent Ukrainian companies

· Computer literacy and good command of English are expected

· Good communication and presentation skills with an ability on work on a team with other project’s specialists
