Duties and
Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision of the Programme Manager the
incumbent is in charge of the operational facilitation of the project
implementation by means of:
· Assuring smooth running
of the project through following established operational rules and
procedures;
· Participating in data
collection, analysis and maintenance of project data base;
· Participating in project
conference preparation, implementation and follow up,
· Facilitating the process
of procurement and delivery of project goods and services for the
conferences;
· Maintaining
updated networks of project counterparts, contractors, consultants, suppliers,
collect relevant information on best services and expertise
providers.
· Disseminating
information for the project by ccontributing
to the preparation of the project bulletins and promotion materials;
· Participating
in preparation of project reports and plans;
· Maintaining
contacts with educational institutions (local and community authorities),
schools, student delegations, NGOs;
· Updating
project website regularly;
· Organizing
photos/materials related to the project implementation;
· Ensuring
target distribution of information materials produced;
· Scanning
local/regional press and publications for articles covering project events and
circulate them to project staff;
· Handling
correspondence and replying to inquiries for information;
· Attending
weekly project meetings and keeping current minutes;
· Ensuring
files are kept up-to-date;
· Translating
(informal) documents as needed;
· Perform other
functions/tasks when required.

Requirements
for the post:
· Proactive, energetic, committed and
innovative;
· University
degree;
· Knowledge
of and experience in the Ukrainian education system;
· Experience in the area
of operational support, preferably in the international environment;
· Excellent
writing, communication and organization skills;
· Ability
to meet deadlines;
· Competence
in English (spoken and written); fluent in Ukrainian and
Russian;
· Computer
and information technology skills;
· Good
interpersonal skills, diligent, open minded and dedicated;
· Ability
to work in a team;
· Flexibility.
